Bio:
I have a PhD in Economics and work as a social science research analyst at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), where I contribute to the Star Ratings Program for Medicare. My role involves utilizing various programming languages to collect data and ensure quality assurance for the data used in calculating star ratings. Previously, I worked as a research assistant at the Telecommunications and Social Informatics Program (TASI) / Pacific Health Informatics Data Center (PHIDC) and taught courses in microeconomics, macroeconomics, and data science as a part-time lecturer at the University of Hawai'i at Manoa. My research interests include health economics, applied econometrics, public health, and health policy.
